Zayan spring/summer 2013

The spring/summer 2013 collection “Electric Wonderland” by Zayan, a brand founded by Dubai based designer Zayan Ghandour which debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2011. Zayan’s feminine and romantic clothes come to life thanks to the inspiration that her twin daughters give her, in fact throughout the collection you can see a naive and childish note, in the use of colors, cuts, fluids and voluminous fabrics such as tulle and silk, the prints and embroideries that are often images of deers and birds. A collection that stands in harmony and balance between the surrealism of a fairy tale, the modernity of the silhouettes and the malice of the transparencies.
