Yana Chaplygina fall/winter 2013

We present Volkano, the fall/winter 2013 by the Ukrainian designer Yana Chaplygina. A collection that takes its inspiration from natural geological formations. Details in leather, faux fur trims, prints: each decorative element recalls, in shapes and colors, volcanoes, eruptions, lava. The silhouettes of the garments, what really impressed me within the entire collection, are minimal but rich in details that remind me of the 90′s, from the crop tops, to the buckles, to the transparencies. Real protagonists are the leather trims, present on almost every piece.
