Next round. For my second post today we go back again to the
SaloneSatellite in the spaces of iSaloni 2013 to show you “Torque”, the table created by Japanese designer
Nobu Miake and presented at the stand of Design Soil, the university project which brings together the creations of the students of the department of product design of the Kobe Design University. A piece of furniture that has its point of force in the structure, a study on the materials and assembly techniques, which sees two reversible shelves and four wooden legs united only through the joint system, in a twist capable of creating a sense of falsely precarious balance. Essential elements capable, through the application of a simple rule of physics, to support heavy weights giving rise to a solution with a contemporary design, aesthetically attractive and durable in time.
