Today I bring you the work of
Nuno Andrade, a Portuguese photographer living in Madeira, a small, kinda tiny island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, the weather here is pretty good almost all year around. I can say this because I live here too, and that leads us to his work. Have you ever came across a photo of your country and thought “this can’t be the same place I live!”. That happened to me when I saw his works for the first time, I could not believe that in front of me was a photo of my island. I know photographers have a “special touch” when it comes to portraying things. Some of the photos are like those dreamy and whimsical landscapes you want to go. Nature may be standing still in front of us, but it’s a hard job to catch mother nature’s essence. And I reckon Nuno is doing a good job, I’m always waiting to see his next photos of the island.
