Swan lamp

For the usual Friday column dedicated to lighting design today we show Swan, the desk lamp created by Spanish designer Octavio Barrera. A LED lighting solution made ​​of glass fiber with power cable left exposed to give movement and to characterize the forms. A structure which, as the name and its silhouette imply, is inspired by the swans, a stylized body that mimics the squatting position, as if the animal was sitting gently on the table. A piece of design that in addition to illuminate is equipped with a vase, a container incorporated to the shape and that allows to always have a small green point with flowers and plants, an ornamental complement that furnishes expressing the elegance and purity of nature with simplicity.
