Studio Arterie Artisan Wallpaper

Studio Arterie creates specialist artisan wallpaper and wall coverings using the mediums of illustration and digital art. The wallpaper they create combines the idea of traditional wallpaper with designs that re-imagine classical art and you can also see the influence of wall murals in their work. I think that the designs would look great in an urban loft or apartment giving a bright colour pop to walls. I’ve chosen some examples today from their “wall murals and photo wallpaper” range. What I especially like about Studio Arterie creations is that music as well as art inspires the designs; for example their “Reincarnation of Art Series” was inspired by the artist Pinar Du Pre who tries to discover the hidden songs within classical art works. The result was reincarnated artworks that channel both classical art and music for the finished wallpapers which express the ways the artist feels about how the songs and images interact.
