For the Friday column dedicated to lighting design today we show you “Stasis”, a project admired at the
Salone Satellite in Milan, the pendant lamp created by the two designers from Milan based
Studio BAAG, the Italian architect Pier Francesco Galuppini and the Swedish designer Caroline Bauer. A solution that, as told by the creators themselves, is in line with their latest projects, that have as focus the transformation of objects and ideas with a playful and funny philosophy into functional design solutions. A lamp composed of a structure made of a metal sheet powder coated with rubberized paint, composed of four elements fixed and screwed to a central steel axis. A round shape that seems to draw with false casualness a stylized outline of a cloud, in a game of fluid geometries specially designed, where the domes cut and inserted one inside another are placed in straight line, in a constant state of stability.
