Scotch&Soda is a brand that I love, especially because it never stops surprising me. The quality and the devotion dedicated to the researchf or new materials that you can find in every item, makes me believe that there is a new future for fashion, especially in this moment of low quality and “fast fashion” brands. What distinguishes the brand is their continuous research which seeks to have find fabrics which have their own history and adapting them to modern needs: that is how the brand is able to create clothes which are different from other clothing brands. Just like the men collection Souvenir de Tokyo, where they drew inspiration from industrial work clothes (i.e. aprons), yet realized with natural fabric with Japanese tools. These tools/machines are extremely rare and exist only in Japan, where they have been used for centuries. That’s why for me it was love at first sight when I saw this capsule collection: classic clothes redone in natural fabrics with a mix of eastern and western tradition.
