Today we present Sinestezija by the multi-faceted Croatian artist
Diana Sokolic. A varied project, which is expressed through different disciplines, a series of different works that have as a common thread the use of color and the geometric shapes. Diana is involved in the creation of kinetic light objects inspired by Aleksandar Srnec, geometric abstract shapes illuminated by LED lights, which are then photographed by herself, becoming elaborations reminiscent of three-dimensional graphics. In addition, she restores and refurnishes chairs with frames dating back to the 60′s, which act as a visual accompaniment to her objects. The aspect of her creativity that strikes me most, writing almost exclusively about fashion now, are her jewels made of plexiglass, which rework the same principles of color and geometry of the kinetic objects, but also explore the absence of color, or the total-white. A variety of models, ranging from necklaces to brooches to rings, to the original and unusual cuff-shaped bracelet. Pure geometric shapes juxtaposed in an ordered chaos, blocks of neon colors that draw daring harmonies. Each piece is handmade and unique. For the moment is not possible to buy online, but for more information you can contact the designer privately or through the
