Simona Manzone is a young photographer based in Italy. Born as graphic designer, but with the desire to take the brushes in hand. It’s this desire to paint that let her approache to photography, in order to achieve the perfection she can’t get with her own forces. She says of her works: “I play to steal souls, souls eagers of exhibitionism, in a moment that will make them eternal. Or simply, I just collect fragments of visited places, details to keep etched in memory”. Some of her photographs are terribly introspective, so as to kidnap the viewer and cherish into a travel of feelings and deep reflections. She doesn’t inspire to any artist “now we are all sponges, we absorb from all over without even realizing it”. However, she loves to discover and follow new artists such as Jaroslaw Datta, Kirsty Mitchell and Thymournia, which she defines ingenious and sublime, an unlimited pleasure for the eyes and for the heart.
