Today we are featuring PINCH, the bench created by designers Bryan Cush and Greg Bielawiec from Australian studio
Sawdust Bureau. An essential design with strong geometric appeal, lines and shapes in loop that blend, through a hand-crafted working, the classic use of the wood to the creativity of a modern material and in complete contrast, such as concrete. A structure composed of reclaimed jarrah wood and ash and a distinctive cylindrical support, a core made of concrete and obtained by coring, recovered and adapted. A multifunctional solution that can be used both as a comfortable sitting with three places or as a coffee table with an interesting magazine rack storage system, where newspapers and magazines are hung in brushed aluminum strips that run parallel and alongside the linear plots of the structure.
