The works that I show you today are taken from the series “P/01″ and “P/02″ by the Turkish artist Sabo Akdag. Paintings in oil on canvas depicting faces of women and men with rapid and bare brushstrokes. Fascinating portraits characterized by dark tones, that through successive overlaps of substantial and abundant layers lighted with mixtures of colors, mutate and animate while hiding their features and their spirits.
