The selection of works that I show you today is taken from the series “Rooster” created by American artist Joshua Brown. Paintings in acrylic and oil on canvas depicting animal subjects, as for most of his works, in this case roosters, sketched figures that are complemented by an attractive use of color. Portraits with a neutral background that accentuates and reinforces the energy, the power and the movement given by the strong and vibrant spatula strokes.
