The works that I chose to show you today are part of the series Fragments, paintings in acrylic on canvas made by the Portuguese artist Isabel Freire. Exciting landscapes, portraits and fleeting moments of daily life represented through traditional techniques, lifelike images synthesized and fragmented into rigid geometries, the accuracy of the segments joined to the pretended randomness of the colors to give life to amazing abstract artworks.
