Yesterday, while I wandered in search of emerging artists to present to you, I came across in the paintings of the American artist
Aaron Apsley. A series of urban landscapes made with oil on canvas and panel, portraits that pleasantly surprised me, especially “The Cambrian”, the first work that you can see in the gallery of the post, I can’t tell the exact reason, probably the painting technique and the precision of the architectures, or maybe I was simply attracted by a particular, as the vibrant color contrast of the curtains, a strong color that breaks the silence, the stillness and monotony of the city make the natural beauty of realism even more fascinating.
