Nature, animals and insects are always a source of inspiration for many artists and designers. In these years on TheMAG we talked about illustrations, paintings, drawings, jewelry and furniture pieces depicting or that have been influenced by nature, and continuing on this current, but with a completely different artistic technical approach, today we show you the awesome sculptures realised by the Bulgarian artist
Dimitar Valchev aka Muti. Springs, gears, nuts, bolts, spark plugs, spoons and forks, are just some of the objects used by the artist to create his works of art, various recycled parts, metal elements taken out of their context and out of their original function, gathered and shaped with patience and lots of creativity to create stunning steampunk replicas of insects.
