Today I want to show you some of the latest works by Polish artist Michal Wrega aka
Sepe, painted with mixed media on canvas, and that will be presented and exhibited to the public from 11 to 13 April at the gallery
SCHWALBE & SCHWALBE in Munich. A captivating journey where fantasy collides with reality and merges into a deep and complex exploration of an unknown city populated by strange characters in opposition to each other, represented with almost deformed bodies, with small heads, elongated necks and bony limbs. An introspective journey in which man, his emotions and his life are the focus that moves the art of Sepe, the center of his work expressed through an energic art, characterized by geometric features and dynamic brushstrokes left rough to fade almost unfinished in landscapes and dark atmospheres. My favorite work? Of course the one I chose as the cover of this post, “Backyard DonKichote”.
