Kara Liu accessories

The Melbourne based designer Kara Liu presents the collection Sous, a series of dresses with extremely minimal and sculptural shapes. The playful side of the collection is represented by the line of accessories, monochrome leather clutches treated with a technique that allows to emboss various shapes on the material. Reworking an idea that we introduced here long ago, the designer creates funny details from trivial items, bags that, rather than protect, reveal its contents in an ironic way: house keys, glasses, mp3 players, reversed handles, even a much less common weapon. Mundane elements of everyday life that take a whole new connotation.
