Eleonora Niccolai, in her new spring/summer 2013 collection, wants to give the women awareness of their femininity. She refuses stereotypes, giving space to the opposition: an artistic mannerism, so defined, which draws attention to the contrasts, opposites, such as nature and artifice. Straight lines, but also irregular geometries, large volumes at times overlaps. A collection of 30 pieces, made of light yarns such as cotton, crepe, silk and linen, which model the body in new and unusual shapes. A palette characterized mainly by dark, strong, intense colors, that denounce the character of a strong woman, determined and at the same time aware of her beauty and sensuality. Beautiful clothes, made in Italy, or rather in Florence, the city of origin of the designer and where she graduated in knitwear at Polimoda. Eleonora Niccolai pays no attention to the customs and creates unconventional shapes. Something totally different!
