Edith and Ella spring/summer 2013

I showed you what, according to fashion insiders, will be the fall/winter 2013-14 trends. As it happens every year, the real trends will be sketched only in the process, influenced by bloggers, cool-hunters and street-stylers. A current that has been developing for some time now, however, follows some vintage and bon-ton influence. There are countless more brands, often northern European or Spanish, that collection after collection present a style inspired by the 60′s and 70′s, made of dresses, collars, lace and vintage patterns. Edith & Ella is a Danish brand, founded in 2004 by designer Line Markvardsen, and fits perfectly in this imaginary, presenting for the spring/summer 2013 a series of fancy dresses, trapeze skirts, bon-ton sweaters and impalpable blouses with round collars. A collection that smells like an outdoor picnic or a bike ride in a sunny afternoon.
