Dreams of Norway spring/summer 2013

Summer is my favorite time of year to wear jewelry, which is why lately I’m much more into jewel design collections. I discovered “Dreams of Norway“, the brand formed by designer duo Nina Einarsen and Iselin Strømsvåg. The pieces, strictly handmade, are all unique, different from each other and created with quality materials, such as silver, semi precious stones, swarovski crystals, … In the spring/summer 2013 collection “Dovre”, I loved the rough, almost unfinished look of the jewels, and the way in which the materials are integrated and fused, creating almost a patina of old and used. My favorite pieces are the rings, from which the stones come out almost like mineral deposits grown on the metal.
