Tired of reading the same old things, to see the usual projects copy/pasted on every blog and magazine? Don’t worry, we’re back, ready and with a great desire to inspire you. Let’s start with a high-level project, “Corteza”, the buffet created by Mexican designer
Daniel Ornelas. A solution inspired by the concept of care and protection offered by nature: such as bark for trees, the designer tries to imitate and revive in the objects and furnishings of everyday use the natural protective function through a handcrafted structure made of wood. Simple lines and basic shapes where the functionality of drawers and containers meets and is upholstered with aesthetics, external elements that intersect with each other creating an amazing linear pattern, a structure that doesn’t interfere with the use but protects, supports and highlights the beating heart of this buffet.
