Michal Mrzyglód presents “Chin-suru”, his debut collection. “Chin-suru”, a slang verb which means “warming up food in a microwave” or just “microwave”, represents for the designer a metaphor of the socio-cultural changes that occurred in Japan since the last century, a result of the Meiji reformation. A modern collection, even futuristic, but that restrains elements of culture and tradition: a metaphor for the Japanese society, technological and strongly projected into the future, but with its feet firmly entrenched in the past.
