One of my favorite events of the
London Design Festival each year is the
Designjunction. In a beautiful location (a large disused industrial area few steps away from Oxford Circus) are presented not only design projects, but also textile, curios objects and some contamination with fashion. It’s here that I made the acquaintance of the brand
Cherchbi, founded by designer Adam Atkinson in 2007. Initially born from the simple idea of using discarded wool, over time it has evolved in a label of accessories for man, or rather for “gentleman”, inspired by the British tradition. This is the reason why the main material of their creations is tweed, mixed with leather, hardware and interior trims all locally sourced and sustainable. The rich finishes and the timeless design give these products a special charm, making them suitable for all types of man and why not, even for women.
