Broken Wings

Mark Goldenberg in 2012 wins three prestigious awards coveted by young talents: the Vogue talents award, the Avery Dennison Brand innovation award and the International Talent Support. The year just ended saw the works of this young designers from Tel-Aviv in the most important fashion editorials. His clothes are made entirely by hand, starting from a metallic wire skeleton on which every element is incorporated, just like muscles, skin and feathers on a bone structure. The collection “Broken Wings” is inspired by the sculptures of Naum Gabo and their similarity to the structure of bird wings. The sense of freedom together with constraint that these wearable sculptures transmit, have, according to the designer, the power to free the soul of the viewer.
