Outside of Luxembourg’s city center, you can find many surprises. And the new locations for art, fashion and design are not only in the main center streets. The little
Bergman Berglind gallery is one of these new locations. Situated at the outskirts of the cirt, this little gallery attracts attention for the absolute white decoration, without furniture (only a little table and two chairs at the back of the room) where the only decorative detail is white plaster over the ceiling. That’s because all the space is dedicated to art. It was opened in late 2011, by a couple truly with a passion for contemporary art. Every month and a half the exhibition changes, each one dedicated to different topics, but always dedicated to artists that the owners love. The artists are both local and international and the exhibitions are collective (as the current one, Anatomicals) or dedicate to a single artist. A small number of works organized in a space that is perfect for hosting them. This is proof of something we really need today: a passion can still become your profession.
