We don’t know whether it is a simple provocation or a means to convey a message, but we really enjoyed
Atheist Berlin shoes. Born in March 2012, these shoes are inspired by the Bauhaus, are completely handmade and characterized by their incredible comfort (someone says that it feels like wearing “kittens”) and a minimalist silhouette that hides a surprise. The concept of the brand lays in fact in the message imprinted in the sole, with the phrases “Ich bin Atheist” and “Darwin Loves” that leave, literally, the sign in your path. They say that the mission of the brand is to give style to atheism and allow people to be open and ironic on a hot topic as that of faith. We suppose it’s a brilliant meteoric idea carried out in admirable way, supported by a shoe with a quality manufacturing (seen and touched at
Pitti Immagine). Who will be right?
