Achtland spring/summer 2013

Apr 24 2013, 12:30 pm 0 Monica Bogliolo

The spring/summer 2013 collection by the brand Achtland, founded in Berlin in 2011 by the creative duo Oliver Lühr and Thomas Bentz, is inspired by the figure of the American oceanographer Sylvia Earle and the team of female researchers called Aqua-Babes, the first group of female aquanauts with which she she explored life underwater in a submarine work station. Every aspect of the collection is inspired by the sea creatures and the underwater life, from the delicate macramé embroideries to the sophisticated colors palette, ranging from coral to tangerine to aqua green. Structured and minimal lines that build strong shapes enriched by the spectacular details.
