Among the installations we admired during
FuoriSalone in Zona Tortona in Milan, that conceived by the designers and creatives of the mysterious German brand “Yet!unknown” particularly intrigued and impressed us for the unusual and intentional roughness of the elements and the immediate ease to understand its meaning. An old mobile cement mixer, a construction machine used for mixing and kneading the components of mortar or concrete, turned in a case, a symbolic display that can accommodate and present to the audience their lamp WT 12, “Wagenfeld Tribute 2012″, a tribute to the famous “Bauhaus lamp” created in 1924 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. A fascinating table lamp made of concrete, a material apparently cold and heavy that amazingly radiates softness, lightweight and unique tactile sensations, almost velvety.
