Today we show you the furniture designed by the British brand
Understorey and presented at Tent London during the
London Design Festival. A series of sustainable solutions handcrafted with the use of local materials, simple and functional products with a rustic and contemporary look. Pieces designed to adapt to different styles of furniture and life, while maintaining the character and the visual characteristics of the elements with which they are made. “Peg-Leg”, a table with clean lines, made of wood, characterized by the playful mode with which it’s assembled, in fact the elements are joined together and made stable by a rope under tension. “Copse” nature meets contemporary design and merges with it in order to create a highly versatile product, a stackable magazine rack, a coffee table to put beside the couch, a table, a stool or a curious foot rails, available in two versions, the square “Cube” or the round “Tube”. And finally “Macstick Shelves”, a set of shelves, a confrontation of passions between the roughness of the natural elements and the sobriety of the surfaces, a library to display books, objects, memories or pieces of art.
