We often read interviews to designers, bloggers or people working in the field who claim their love for fashion from an early age, one of those statements that always sound likely to boast a divine vocation.
Coco Lancellotti in her biography reveals herself, and in the end one can’t doubt the authenticity of her words. With a childhood that saw her constantly traveling between Brazil and the United States, even as a kid the designer used her own style as a reflection of her personality, to let the new people she met understand something of her. During her master’s degree at the London College of Fashion, she explores the potential of shapes, and with all the information gathered, she conceives a creative style that blends different cultures taking the best of both worlds, all linked by the skilful construction of silhouettes, ranging from sculptural to unstructured, and a meticulous attention to detail.
