The courtesy table

May 09 2012, 8:00 am 0 Marco Russo

On Monday we showed you Open Minded tables, and today we return to talk about the Dutch collective “Tuttobene” with another curious discovery, the table created by designer Marleen Jansen and presented during the FuoriSalone at Zona Tortona in Milan. This project was developed with the aim of enforcing the rules of the table Bon Ton, a creative solution that voluntary affects manners, preventing people from moving away from the table during dinner. A swinging table for two, made of wood, where every guest is forcedly bound to another, in balance between dependence and trust.
