Today we show you some of the works by Italian artist
Albino Caramazza, presented at the Ex Moi of Turin during the eighth edition of
Paratissima. Original collages, accurate re-elaborations of famous pictures that arise from patient research, painstaking assembly and creative color combination of an unusual material: the sugar sachets. Paper wrappers with different graphic characteristics that commonly accompany a cup of coffee in the bars, only to be abandoned and discarded after use, to which the artist gives a second life, taking a simple and almost trivial object of our daily lives and raising it to Art. Singular and striking creations made with the use of more than two hundred sugar sachets each, sweet artistic tributes that, through a clever game of compositions and overlaps, transform and take shape drawing milestones like Marilyn by Andy Warhol, the Kiss by Gustav Klimt, Pierrot by Fernando Botero and Composition by Piet Mondrian.
