Within the brand
Osei-Duro there is friendship, there are values, there is travel and adventure. Initially I was hit by the clothes, but discovering the story behind the founding of the label and the creation of the garments I understand it was more than a duo that creates fashion. The two designers Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh, born in Vancouver, after attending high school together, in 2009 decided to travel to Ghana, where they decide to settle down and establish their ethical fashion label, produced entirely locally and with the help of local artisans. At the moment the two are divided between the capital, Accra, and North America. Their style draws inspiration from the cultural context in which they are immersed, integrating ethnic elements with a urban and contemporary taste, without compromising on style. In the photogallery you find a taste of the fall/winter 2012 2013, which is dominated by abstract patterns and dark colors, with some splashes of orange.
