Cold, warm, cold again, than warm … This year, weather will make us go crazy. With the -20 degrees touched last winter in mind, I welcome the new
Museum parka with a smile, and with a little hope to be able to try it in the snow soon (sorry, I like cold and snow a lot). we have already spoken of the fascinating history of the Italian company
here, when we presented the men’s collection. For women also, fall/winter 2012 develops
three lines, suitable for different climates and situations: “antartica” for extreme cold, “ground field”, with garments inspired by military uniforms, and “fiumi e foreste”, from which comes
Parka MD19492 – Layla. The exterior is made of waterproof and breathable fabric, and the padding responds to specific quality standards, the padding weight is divided into three “zones”, identified by a label inside each garment: light, for temperate climes, intermediate for cold weather and heavy for freezing temperatures. The fit is perfect, the padding is thick but very light, and despite the volume, it doesn’t make the silhouette look heavy, a pretty interesting detail for a piece with high technical characteristics. The collection is wide and diverse, ranging from high performance jackets, suitable for a day in the snow, to models inspired by 80′s classics, to more trendy pieces, with camouflage or Aztec all-over patterns. No matter if you’re sporty or fashionista, this year Museum will keep you warm.
