Cold this year has come far in advance, just in time to test the newcomer,
MU19388 – B9 parka from brand
Museum. An Italian Company, which collects a legacy that is being carried out with passion and professionalism since the 80s, when they started exporting the first garments from North America and Canada. Since then, things have changed, from importers they’ve become producers, but the philosophy remains the same: to bring a fashion and urban taste in the sportswear panorama. Not the usual jackets, therefore, but pieces who combine technical features with a taste close to the trends. The fall/winter 2012 men’s collection is divided into
three main themes: “antartica”, the most performant, perfect for tackling the great cold, “fiumi e foreste” (rivers and forests), inspired by the classic American outerwear, and “ground field”, reproductions of military and civil uniforms with a urban twist. The parka that Marco tried comes from this last line, which mixes with surprising results a vintage style with high quality, we recommend it for convenience, quality of the finishes and details, and, last but not least, for its style, very popular in this period. The padding is made of Ecodown, a material that provides the same soft effect of goose down, maintaining the advantages of thermal padding. In this case the hood is faux fur, but for other models is used Finn Raccoon, from countries whose laws ensure the animals’ welfare. Museum’s products are distributed in Europe, Japan, South Korea and Canada, and an online shop will soon be available.
