Material Girls by Kyle Hopkins

I love handmade creations. Mainly because no matter how good the craftsman is he will not be able to make all his creations equal: each single item will be different from the other, in other words, unique. And this is exactly the case with Kyle Hopkins’ jewellery, a Seattle designer who hasn’t stopped creating after launching his collection at the London Fashion Week 2011. The next spring-summer collection is (as the designer himself said) a tribute to proud and unashamed women: that’s why there are little women on bracelets, earrings and rings. They are captured layered as if they were on the beach tanning, or while they are playing with kids. They seems little nymphs that make us company during the day.
