To define it versatile and multifunctional would be an understatement. HC11BC is a folding chair made by the designers of the Taiwanese studio “
Homer” and presented at Tent London during the
London Design Festival. A construction that blends traditional processing methods to a specific mechanism, a structure composed of two parts combined together by magnets, capable of giving life to a small masterpiece of cleverness. A simple and functional project suited for both indoor and outdoor use. Four solutions in one: a normal wooden chair, ready with simple gestures to change its shape, evolving into a solid bench for three persons or in a coffee table with a surprisingly carrying capacity of 300 kg, ready, in case of need, to split, creating two distinct and comfortable seating, benches or chairs ready for friends and unexpected guests. To better appreciate the features and incredible transformations of HC11BC, we invite you to view video you find, as always, below the photo gallery.
