The third design presented Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the show of the talents selected from N-U-De New Upcoming Designers, was Francesca Liberatore. Born 1983, Francesca has been called the “enfant prodige” of fashion, and is already at her fifth season on the catwalks of Milan Fashion Week. Her collection differs totally from the previous two, and throws us in the atmospheres of the Jordanian landscapes, between the colors of the souks and the influences of the nomadic peoples of the desert. The dominant color is a dusty white, almost with a touch of cream. Iconic pieces of the collection are the tailored jackets and coats, made with heavy and rigid fabrics, which reveal an explosion of color in the liners, made of the same soft tissue of the pants and long skirts. Details (which can be seen on the long white skirt) designed with Swarovski Elements and fringes of different fabrics embellish the garments.
