On days like this, when I find such gems, “working” is just amazing. Words just come in mind, indeed, I have to hold them, impatient to tell you what I discovered. Eon, a small independent French brand founded by designer Lisa Cameron and Caroline Farina, companions of study at the Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris, and who reunite after graduation, each with a wealth of rich experiences at the service of big names of the fashion industry. A drink (maybe a few more), a talk on the importance of fashion in self-expression and … boom, Eon was born. This is, more or less, what happened, at least if we were in a modern fairy tale, and also according to what the two say. Something must be true, since Eon produces its garments in limited and numbered series, to emphasize the value of every single item, that value that true fashion loves should give. Geometric and minimal shapes, but not stark and austere minimalism, but a style that takes a lot from the street-culture and hip hop. An adorable collection, wearable and all to be mixed, where the solid colors black and blue are broken only by a vaguely galaxy printing. My favorite piece is the maxi neck with zipper, which can also be a cap or a hood.
