Elise Kim fall/winter 2012

When I run into such collections, what strikes me are the lines of clothing, the construction, the sculptural clothes. I guess how the movement of forms apparently so rigid and geometric can create ever new patterns. The brand Elise Kim, and especially the collection that we present here, is a perfect mix of these elements. The brand has a very short history since founded in 2010, thanks to BKVB Funding, and has already attracted the attention of the experts, participating in the 2011 Fashion Week in Amsterdam, one of the most avant-garde and open to young talents of fashion, and again in 2012, this time supported and sponsored by Grazia. The fall/ winter 2012 focuses on sculptural pieces and geometric patterns created by the seams and tha games created by the igid rtissues. The main colors, as if to reiterate the minimalism that characterizes the whole collection, are white and black, punctuated by electric blue and orange.
