Decafe lamp

This week passed so fast, but there are still many things that you want to show. Like as “Decafé”: a study and a reflection on the life cycle of some natural materials that are used regularly during the day, materials such as coffee, biodegradable and renewable. An idea that we could see, touch and smell (the smell is just that of coffee) at the Salone Satellite, in the space dedicated to the Spanish designer Raul Lauri Pla. This project was developed with the aim to offer a second life to coffee grounds. The ground that is commonly thrown in the trash after extracting the essence, revives in the form of 100% natural design objects: pendant, floor and table lamps, shapes that resemble in all aspects those of a cup, to hold and twirl as if savoring the aroma of a delicious coffee, reliving all the emotions and feelings.
