Crack vase

It all started after the discovery, by the Taiwanese designer Jacky Wu, of some pieces of timber in a factory. Material cosidered useless and unusable because of cracks that covered the wood, caused by the drying process. Fissures that immediately impressed and intrigued the designer who, through a process of transformation, has changed those that for other were only defects, in unique details able to give life to an artistic pattern that characterizes “Crack”, the line of vessels and containers presented at Salone Satellite in Milan. Two completely different materials are melted, and a vibrant color tone highlights the soul of the wood, the true essence of nature.
