Chiyome is a new project founded by Japanese descent designer Anna Lynett in winter 2012, and that aims to create pieces that combine fashion and design, characterized by a minimal aesthetics addressed to a conscious audience, in search for quality products and capable of acquiring value with time. At present the collections presented are two, one of quilts and one of bags, of which I talk today. The collection is the first of the brand and is inspired by the Bauhaus. Born as a counter-response to the current trend that wants bags to be hyper decorated, it proposes a series of minimal and essential models, with clean and geometric lines and strictly unisex. Each piece is produced in New York in a company operating sincefor generations, using mostly locally sourced materials. On the website you can see the whole collection, and by subscribing to the newsletter you will be notified of the launch of the online shop.
