Today we bring you to the imaginary world of designer Charlotte Taylor. She moved to London from Lancashire to study at Central Saint Martin, a breeding ground of fashion talents, where she was chosen among the most promising students to join the prestigious press show. A career that brought her to work for names such as Marcus Constable, Frost French and Luella. In 2009, the time is ripe to spread her wings, and she founds a brand under her own name. The fall/winter 2012 instantly captured me for the visionary lookbook: in a dark atmosphere, amongst gray skies and placid owls, stand out garments vibrant of life and color. Classic cuts and silhouettes, with a mood almost retro, with capri pants (to wear with heavy socks) and high-waisted longuette skirts, associated with mix-and-match patterns, sometimes geometric, sometimes with animals or objects repeated in sequence (the parrot is a recurring motif), or with foulard-prints, and every piece is characterized by bold colors.
