Augustin Teboul is a duo formed in 2010 by the designers Odély Teboul, French, and Annelie Augustin, German. The two personalities in harmony a spring/summer 2013 collection (that I had the pleasure of seeing and touching live at
White Milano) with a Baroque style, reminiscent of Gothic, and characterized by the use of a single color, black. A collection that plays with the volumes of tulle skirts opposed to androgynous outerwear, which includes amazing details, lace, embroideries with beads to adorn bodices, sleeves, hats. The collection, called “Les Fleurs du Mal”, is inspired by the famous work of Charles Baudelaire, and to recreate the atmosphere, a scenario with antique furniture and floral sculptures were set up at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in July 2012, where the two designers presented the collection.
