Remember the extravagant
Hemispheres Lamp or
Rocknrolla Luminous? Today we want to show you a submission we received, that striked us for the same irreverence and ironic creativity, conceived by Soup Studio, a group of Italian designers composed of Martino Cabassi, Davide Magni, Carlo Tartaglia and Frenk Valtorta, formed in 2004 while studying at the New Academy of Fine Arts (NABA) in Milan. A typical superstitious gesture, rude, ironic or rock’n'roll that, abandoning the simple symbolism of form, is transformed into a functional component: two hangers, a wall one called Umberto and one to put on the ground, this time with a female name, Luisa. Hang up and order keys, watches, scarves, hats, coats, jackets, pants, boxer shorts, bras, necklaces, bracelets, towels, robes and so on and so forth, in the living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or hall, with a simple fingers’ gesture.
