Trakatan

So close you can almost touch it, or know it, in this case. Yet I found them only through the web, rather, through the platform I use to discover misunderstood talents on the other side of the world: Etsy. But they are Italian, and when these lovely coincidences happen, when the world wide web becomes so small, it always makes me smile. Preamble aside, Trakatan is one of those small and not contaminated realities, where creativity can really let off steam. Clothing and handbags, unique pieces, perfectly imperfect and different from each other, Made in Italy (the real one), and a big heart: from 010 collection, the garments are screen printed by hand by prisoners in “Le Vallette” jail in Turin.
