Ekaterina Senina is a fashion designer from Moscow, Russia, and in 2009 she founded her own brand Senina. The autumn/winter 2011 collection is inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian, its geometry, the use of white yellow and red, divided by thick black lines. Similarly, the designer used a few bright colors, geometric cuts, and black fabric insert lines to delineate the profiles of the light evening gowns, the knit day dresses and the coats. A collection deliberately ready-to-wear, with some pieces for special occasions. I particularly appreciated the coats, oversized, structured and almost sculptural, which are, in my opinion the highlight of the collection.
