We already talked about the Indian designer Durgesh Khatri, and shortly thereafter he himself writes us about another interesting work, which, I must confess, had already caught my attention. Do I need other reasons? Absolutely not, then here we are. Using the same manufacturing technique and the same raw materials with which he made “Back to nature“, Durgesh crafted these bags with woven Screwpine leaves hand-dyed by women in Kerala, India. A tradition of craftsmanship that has been handed down for generations in Kerala, and that the designer uses in a completely new field, that of design and fashion. That’s how creates laptop carriers and clutches born, retaining an ancient flavour, but able to combine tradition and modernity in a surprising way.
